In collaboration with Tajai Massey of Souls of Mischief, this project explores the relationships between beats and rhymes in hip hop. Instrumental beats and lyrical events are encoded into color-coded rhyme schemes that are projected and then translated into a large-scale physical weaving. The work investigates how narrative, rhythm, and fabric can work together as a single expressive system.
